Four popular project management methodologies

In this age of constant change, it's important to have a solid project management methodology in place. Here are four popular project management methodologies:

1. SCM

The most popular and classic methodology is SCM. This stands for Supplier Control Management, and it entails tracking all aspects of a supplier's relationship with a business, including purchasing, sourcing delivery, and invoicing processes.

2. CRM

CRM is a more recent methodology that integrates customer management into the overall supply chain process. It helps businesses connect with past customers, identify new customers, and manage relationships with suppliers in an effort to increase customer satisfaction.

3. TPM

TTL stands for Total Project Management and it is similar to SCM but incorporates Kanban into the overall process. Kanban is a Japanese manufacturing system that requires frequent screening of products and materials in order to maintain flow and reduce costs.

4. OPM

OPM is another newer approach that focuses on optimizing the performance of projects from start to finish. It establishes hierarchies for work resources, assigns tasks accurately, measures progress periodically, and evaluates results to ensure quality control and success
